The Automotive Cybersecurity Professional Level 2 “Advanced Engineering” offers practice-oriented specialist knowledge for advanced users in the field of implementing and realizing cybersecurity in vehicle development. Since mid-2024, the training is also available in full as a video course.
In addition to a deeper insight into the topic of automotive cybersecurity, applicable regulations/standards and requirements in cybersecurity management (at organizational and process level), the course focuses on knowledge transfer around the implementation of cybersecurity and getting to know relevant cybersecurity controls in the vehicle context.
In addition, the entire process of cybersecurity implementation according to ISO/SAE 21434 is developed with dedicated walkthrough exercise videos: from the item definition to the TARA to the cybersecurity concept and the view of cybersecurity in the verification and validation phase.

- Current overview of the effects (organization, processes and development processes) and requirements of cyber security in the automotive and vehicle industry

- Overview of cybersecurity-related requirements, documentation obligations, work products and required documents in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434 and beyond
- Know-how about the interplay between cybersecurity goals, cybersecurity concept and associated elaborations in the risk assessment/TARA
- Application knowledge of preparatory work and implementation of a TARA and associated work products (referencing the ISO/SAE 21434 headlamp example)
- Methodological knowledge of the application and assessment of automotive and in-vehicle cybersecurity controls (cryptography, access/communication, network, etc.)

ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155 see a need for specific proof of competence in the field of automotive cybersecurity.
With the ACP Framework personal certifications (with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification), you have the opportunity to prove your acquired knowledge in certification exams following your successful participation in our ACP Level 1 and 2 video courses.
After successfully passing the exam, you will receive your personal certificate issued by TÜV Rheinland. This is valid for three years before recertification is due.
Participation in an exam date must be purchased separately from access to your video course/training. ACP Level 1/2 exams are offered on a regular basis (approx. 1-3 dates per quarter). The exams (live, online) are conducted by the independent personal certification body of TÜV Rheinland in cooperation with our partner CYRES Consulting.
